The forty-third annual Miami Book Fair returns this month, turning downtown Miami into an oasis for book lovers. Head to the Wolfson Campus of Miami Dade College November 15-22 for this iconic literary experience featuring intimate conversations with hot-ticket authors, live performances, and fun-filled programming for kids and families.
The upcoming edition spotlights an expanded, multilingual lineup celebrating Caribbean and Latin American voices alongside international literary royalty, award-winning poets, and Hollywood celebrities. Stop by for readings and panels with Booker Prize–winning novelist Marlon James; two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Colson Whitehead; actor, comedian, and photographer Jeff Garlin; and bestselling authors Elena Armas, Brad Meltzer, Zibby Owens, and Santiago Roncagliolo.

On November 15, Emmy-, Tony-, and Golden Globe–winning actor Tony Shalhoub (Monk, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Big Night) makes his literary debut alongside his daughter, writer and producer Josie Adams, with “We Thought They’d Never Leave: Musings on Food and Family,” a warm and funny portrait of place, family, and food centered on the Shalhoub family’s decades-long summer reunion in Door County, Wisconsin.
The showcase weekend Street Fair (November 20-22) is a promenade of independent publishers, artisan pop-ups, and open-air author panels. Families will discover daily rotating programming at the popular Children’s Alley, from roving stilt walkers and giant puppets to tents with arts and crafts, theater, music, and more. Live author readings and book signings featuring top authors for middle school–aged and young adult audiences are a fantastic way to spark a lifelong love of books.
