Pink Paradise
Bal Harbour Shops is thinking pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The luxury shopping destination will transform into Pink Park, a visually striking activation awash in shades of the signature hue. Expect exaggerated color-blocking, staff dressed in light pink, and Pop Art touches across benches, pathways, café tables, and fountains, all creating an on-message backdrop for interactive programming and events throughout October.

Pucker Up
Tom Ford Beauty has supported the Breast Cancer Research Foundation since 2013, contributing more than $1.25 million to the cause. This October, Lip Color in 03 Casablanca arrives in limited-edition pink packaging with rich satin color, full coverage, and 12-hour wear. The conditioning formula is also free from parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, silicones, and sulfates.

Marvelous Memoir
In Breast Case Scenario, South Florida writer, podcaster, and creator of the popular mom Instagram account @whineandcheezits Rachel Sobel takes readers through the terrifying, absurd, and unexpectedly funny realities of breast cancer with candor. Just 26 days after her diagnosis, Sobel underwent a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction while navigating motherhood, marriage, self-advocacy, and treatment. The poignant yet humorous book will be published in April and is available for preorder now.

Sole Purpose
Shoes for a Cure steps into the Design District October 15-18 for its third year in Miami. An initiative of the Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation, the event brings fashion, philanthropy, and breast cancer advocacy together, with proceeds benefiting the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Festivities kick off with an opening-night dinner at Mother Wolf, followed by three days of shopping. If last year is any indication, expect major fashion names; past partners include Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Birkenstock, and Kirna Zabête.

The Warrior Woman
With strong ties to South Florida, Jill Martin launched her television sportscasting career in the Magic City before becoming a nationally recognized personality on the Today Show. After a breast cancer diagnosis changed her life, Martin turned her experience into a mission to help others. Her Warrior Effect collection includes a necklace, bag charm, fanny pack, and faux-fur sherpa jacket, with 20 percent of net proceeds benefiting the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
