AVENTURA: Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center and Tauber Academy welcomed more than 400 guests to its first annual Monte Carlo Night, which raised upwards of $75,000. Proceeds will go toward various scholarship funds, help the Rabbi assist the underprivileged, and go to maintenance of the synagogue’s Torah scrolls, prayer books and other ritual items, among other causes. Guests at Monte Carlo Night enjoyed a Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament, casino games and a cocktail lounge, plus over 100 prizes and auction items.
